The CURSOR project organised an online workshop on robotics innovations in urban search and rescue operations at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnership Weeks 2022.
We would like to thank our speakers Prof. Satoshi Tadokoro (Tohoku University, Japan), Tiina Ristmäe (THW, Germany), Dr. Harris Georgiou (HRTA, Greece) and our moderator Evangelos Sdongos (ASTRIAL, Germany) for sharing their knowledge.
Please find here the presentations on
- current ground robotic research in the urban search and rescue field (Prof. Tadokoro)
- recent developments in the ground robotics research based on the EU research project CURSOR example (Tiina Ristmäe)
- a first responder’s perspective of the robots application during the search and rescue deployments (Dr. Harris Georgiou)
