Lab Test°4 succesfully demonstrated the integration across Search and Rescue components for better situational awareness

Lab Test°4 succesfully demonstrated the integration across Search and Rescue components for better situational awareness

On the 15th December, technical partners C4C, ICCS and EXUS demonstrated the horizontal integration across Search and Rescue components in a lab environment to end-users.

Alerts from the disaster site were successfully received via the resilient network by the expert-reasoning engine. Alerts were processed and passed onto the mobile system of the team leader and UCC operator.

Information provided from sensors is of importance to coordinate recovery operations and provide an efficient use of resources in the worksite for SaR operations. More information will follow.

Final lab test of the year will be held today, 15 December 2020

Final lab test of the year will be held today, 15 December 2020

Today, 15 December 2020 another milestone in the project will be achieved with the Lab test n°4.

In this virtual test, technical partners C4C, ICCS and EXUS will demonstrate a horizontal integration across SaR components in a lab environment to end-users (THW, HRTA). The test will allow for various information to be fused and collected to provide a rich situational awareness for the field and for remote centers which is of crucial importance when it comes to rapidly finding live victims under debris.

Stay tuned for more information about this test!

Lab test N°4 on 15 December is testing the integration across various components for better situational awareness

On 15 December 2020, technical partners C4C, ICCS and EXUS will demonstrate a horizontal integration across SaR components in a lab environment to end-users (THW, HRTA). The test will cover the following steps: from sensor statuses to observations, through the worksite network onto the expert reasoning engine and then finally to the mobile system of the team leader in the field. The test will allow for various information to be fused and collected to provide a rich situational awareness for the field and for remote centers.
